Stage A Freediving – Newcastle
Stage A Freediving Course is the introduction to the purest form of diving. You’ll learn about the importance of breathing and about the physiology of a breath hold – why you fell what you feel when you hold your breath and what you can do to safely prolong this experience – on land and in the water. Expected depth – up to 20m.
Minimum Age: 16 (13 with Parental consent)
Open Water Training: 2 sessions
Pool Training: Static Session + Dynamic Session
Course results in an international certification from Apnea International
You will need to bring your own gear – mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, weight belt, socks & gloves. The gear does not have to be freediving gear but it is recommended.
If you do not have gear – please notify your instructor before the course so that he could provide you with options.
To do this course you must be comfortable in the water and healthy.
